Zellweger's-like Syndrome is a genetic disorder with a very low survival rate. Similar to standard Zellweger Syndrome, Zellweger's-like Syndrome creates birth defects such as: facial deformities, mental retardation, and low muscle mass. The difference between the two is that, in the case of Zellweger's-like Syndrome, no peroxisomal defect is detected.
