Thrombosis is the interruption of blood flow by a clot in the blood vessels. Tumor Thrombosis, or Tumour Thrombus, occurs when a tumor invades a blood vessel. About 20% of Tumor Thrombosis cases are in Renal Cell Carcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma, adrenal carcinoma, and retroperitoneal tumors make up the rest of the cases. Tumor Thrombosis is treated with surgery and immunotherapy.
