The inflammation is caused by an infection in the fluid surrounding the brain or spinal. Plague Meningitis stems from the Bubonic plague which is a disease that mainly circulates around small rodents and their fleas. About 10% of people infected with Bubonic plague will develop Plague Meningitis. The symptoms of Plague Meningitis are stiff neck, fever, headache, and coma. The Plague Meningitis is treated with antibiotics.
