Meningitis Noninfective: Disease Bioinformatics
Meningitis causes inflammation of the meninges which is the protective membranes surrounding the in the brain and spinal cord. The inflammation is caused by an infection in the fluid surrounding the brain or spinal. Non Infectious Meningitis has three categories including acute meningitis, recurrent meningitis, and chronic meningitis. Non Infectious Meningitis mimics infective meningitis, an infection of the central nervous system. The symptoms of Non Infectious Meningitis are similar to the symptoms of infectious meningitis which are fever, headache, and stiff neck.
