Stage II Cervical Carcinoma is a developed form of cancer in the uterine cervix. During Stage II Cervical Carcinoma, the cancer has spread to the upper part of the vagina or to the tissues surrounding the cervix. Stage II Cervical Carcinoma is broken into two types: Stage IIA and Stage IIB. In Stage IIA, the cancer has spread to the upper part of the vagina, and in Stage IIB, the cancer has spread to the parametria. Typically, treatment for Stage II Cervical Carcinoma consists of radiation and chemotherapy.
