Image collected and cropped by CiteAb from the following publication (nature.com/articles/s41598-018-24786-1), licensed under a CC-BY licence.Immunohistochemistry: Insulin Antibody (E2-E3 (same as INS04)) [NBP2-34260] - Immunohistochemistry of pancreas shows relatively higher reactivity for insulin in PrP-/- relative to Tg40 PrP sections (panels 1 & 3). Iron overloading decreases insulin reactivity in Tg40 PrP but not in PrP-/- samples (panels 1 vs. 2 & 3 vs. 4). Reaction for glucagon is higher in iron overloaded Tg40 PrP relative to control samples (panels 5 & 6). The difference is minimal in PrP-/- samples (panels 7 & 8). NBP3-05546
Western Blot: SLC6A4/5-HTTLPR/Serotonin transporter Antibody [NBP3-05546] - Different tissue and cell lysates using NBP3-05546 at a dilution of 1:1,000 in green. Left: [1] protein standard, [2] rat brain caudate/putmen region, [3] rat brain striatum region and [4] mouse brain. The prominent band at ~68kDa corresponds to SLC6A4 protein, and lower bands are likely are proteolytic products of SLC6A4. [5] protein standard, [6] non-transfected HEK293 cells and [7] HEK293 cells transfected with an expression construct containing a Myc-DDK tagged full length human SLC6A4 cDNA. The bands between 50-75kDa mark in the transfected cells demonstrate overexpression of SLC6A4, and the band at about 150kDa presumably corresponds to an aggregated form of SLC6A4. The blot was probed with mouse mAb to GAPDH at a dilution of 1:5,000, in red, which reveals the single band at ~37kDa in both transfected and non-transfected cells. Note that HEK293 cells express endogenously (7).Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: SLC6A4/5-HTTLPR/Serotonin transporter Antibody [NBP3-05546] - Immunofluorescent analysis of a rat brain section stained with SLC6A4/5-HTTLPR/Serotonin transporter Antibody in green and counterstained with chicken polyclonal antibody to tyrosine hydroxylase in red. The axons of serotoninergic neurons course throughout the section but are clearly distinct from the chatacholinergic processes and cell bodies revealed with the TH antibody. The blue stain reveals DNA in cell nuclei.
