Adenocarcinoma, Clear Cell: Disease Bioinformatics

Clear Cell Adenocarcinoma is a rare tumor that is found in the female genital tract. Clear cell adenocarcinomas are found in the uterus, ovaries, vagina, or cervix. A cyst in any of these areas is a good indicator of a Clear Cell Adenocarcinoma. In many cases the tumor or cyst may be removed but the cancer may have spread beyond just that area.

NB300-223
Western Blot: Vimentin Antibody [NB300-223] - Analysis of tissue and cell lysates. Antibody at 1:5000 in red. [1] protein standard (red), [2] rat whole brain lysate, [3] HeLa, [4] SH-SY5Y, [5] HEK293, and [6] NIH-3T3 cell lysates. NB300-223 binds to the vimentin protein showing a single band at ~50 kDa. The blot was simultaneously probed with mouse mAb to MAP2C/D, dilution 1:5000 in green, revealing multiple bands around 280 kDa that correspond to full length MAP2A/2B isotypes, and ~70 kDa bands which are MAP2C/D isotypes. MAP2 isotypes are seen only in extracts containing neuronal lineage cells.Immunohistochemistry: Vimentin Antibody [NB300-223] - Attenuated reactive astrocytosis after stroke in Smad1 cKO mice. Enlarged IHC images of boxed areas at the cortical peri-infarct area with the indicated reactive astrocyte markers GFAP, Nestin, and Vimentin. Enlarged images of GFAP IHC highlight the hypertrophic morphology of GFAP+ astrocytes in mutants. Image collected and cropped by CiteAb from the following publication (http://dx.plos.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0136967), licensed under a CC-BY licence.

NB100-417
Immunohistochemistry: Carbonic Anhydrase IX/CA9 Antibody [NB100-417] - Images showing Carbonic Anhydrase IX/CA9 expression, pimonidazole, apoptosis and proliferation in SCCNij202.Carbonic Anhydrase IX/CA9 is expressed in hypoxic regions as assessed by pimonidazole staining (A), but is also observed in non-pimonidazole areas (B). Yet, most of Carbonic Anhydrase IX/CA9 is expressed in pimonidazole positive regions (C). Proliferation (BrdUrd) and apoptosis (caspase-3) in relation to Carbonic Anhydrase IX/CA9 expression are shown in figure D and E. Red, Carbonic Anhydrase IX/CA9; Green, pimonidazole (A-B), BrdUrd (D) or caspase-3 (E); Yellow, overlap of Carbonic Anhydrase IX/CA9 (red) and pimonidazole (green); Light blue, vessels. Magnification 100x. Scale bars represent 100 um. Closed circles represent Carbonic Anhydrase IX/CA9 expression in pimonidazole positive regions; open circles represent Carbonic Anhydrase IX/CA9 expression in pimonidazole negative regions. Image collected and cropped by CiteAb from the following publication (http://dx.plos.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0108068), licensed under a CC-BY licence.Dual RNAscope ISH-IHC: Carbonic Anhydrase IX/CA9 Antibody [NB100-417] - Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections of human stomach were probed for Carbonic Anhydrase IX/CA9 mRNA (ACD RNAScope Probe, catalog # 559348; Fast Red chromogen, ACD catalog # 322750). Adjacent tissue section was processed for immunohistochemistry using Rabbit Polyclonal (Novus catalog # NB100-417) at 1:1000 dilution with overnight incubation at 4 degrees Celsius followed by incubation with anti-rabbit IgG VisUCyte HRP Polymer Antibody (Catalog # VC003) and DAB chromogen (yellow-brown). Tissue was counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to glandular cells.

Knockout Validated: MUC1 Antibody [NBP1-60046] - C57BL/6 Muc1 KO mice and WT mice were undergoing intranasal instillation of 75 ug of lipopolysaccharide (LPS) at day 1. Between days 2 and 3, animals were exposed to cigarette smoke (or control air) of 6 cigarettes followed by 8 cigarettes (or control air) at days 4 and 5, and 10 cigarettes (or control air) at day 6. Vehicle or dexamethasone at 3 mg/kg/day and 10 mg/kg/day was administered orally once a day between day 1 and 6. Animals were sacrificed at day 6 and lungs were homogenized to analyze protein expression of Muc1 cytoplasmic tail (CT). Protein expression was normalized to B-actin. C57BL/6 Muc1 KO mice and WT mice were undergoing dexamethasone 10 mg/kg/day (orally) for 6 days. Animals were sacrificed at day 6 and lungs were fixed in paraformaldehyde (4%) for 48 h and embedded. Lung slices were immunostained with MUC1-cytoplasmic tail (CT) (red) and glucocorticoid receptor alpha (GRa) antibodies (green) with rhodamine/fluorescein secondary antibodies.
