Acute Basophilic Leukemia is a very rare form of acute leukemia. The blasts in this form of leukemia are undifferentiated and are accompanied by abnormal basophils in every stage of differentiation. Acute Basophilic Leukemia is consistent with lytic lesions, organomegaly, circulating blasts and marrow failure. For this rare form of leukemia, the prognosis is very poor.
