Novus Biologicals announced today a new LAMP1 Antibody (catalog number NBP1-49668) that is useful as a endosome marker and a mast cell marker, as well as in research on membrane trafficking and chaperones. This LAMP-1 antibody was made using SDIX Genomic Antibody TechnologyTM (GATTM).
LAMP 1 is a membrane glycoprotein that presents carbohydrate ligand for selectins. LAMP1 has also been linked to tumor cell metastasis, and may be useful for cancer research. Novus’ new LAMP-1 antibody may be used in immunofluorescent staining of human and mouse cells and tissues.
SDIX GAT uses sophisticated bioinformatics and immunization strategies to produce high-quality antibodies that specifically bind to targeted regions of the protein in its naturally folded form. The ability of an antibody to recognize a protein’s naturally folded state enables its utility in high-value applications like sandwich immunoassay, ChIP, and flow cytometry.
