Diabetes Research

Diabetes is a disease in which the body does not produce or properly use insulin. There are four major types of diabetes: Type 1, Type 2, Gestational and Pre-Diabetes. Type 1 diabetes, previously known as juvenile diabetes, is an autoimmune disease resulting when one's own immune system destroys insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas. This causes the pancreas to produce little or no insulin. In type 2 diabetes, the body either does not produce enough insulin or beta cells ignore insulin. Gestational diabetes refers to high glucose levels caused by pregnancy. Pre-diabetes is a condition in which blood glucose levels are high, but not high enough for the diagnosis of type 2 diabetes.   All Diabetes Research Antibodies, Lysates, Proteins, and RNAi
