His Epitope Tags
The 6-His polyhistidine tag is a protein motif that consists of six or more histidine residues (H-H-H-H-H-H) engineered onto the N- or C- terminus of a protein of interest. Polyhistidine tags are useful for the detection and analysis of expressed recombinant proteins using immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation and immunostaining techniques.
