Ovarian Carcinoma Cell Markers

Tumor markers can be found in the body when cancer is present. They are most often found in the blood or urine, but can also be found in tumors and other tissues. High level of the tumor marker CA125 in the blood strongly suggests ovarian cancer. CA125 is an antigen present on 80% of non-mucinous ovarian carcinomas.
