    Flow Cytometry Antibodies and FLOW Tech Support

    Flow Cytometry is a laser based biological assay used for cell detection, counting and sorting of specific biomarkers. Cells are first suspended in solution and fluorescently labeled antibodies are applied. Then the cells are passed single-file through a series of lasers which analyze size, shape and the fluorescent characteristics of each cell. Results can then be electronically gated to filter the data to a specific cell type and whether or not they contain bound antibodies. This form of assay is particularly useful for analyzing blood samples.
