TGN38 Antibody

Antisera to TGN38 were raised by repeated immunisations of sheep with highly purified antigen (Recombinant fusion protein corresponding to extracellular domain of TGN38).

This is specific for TGN38. TGN38 is a heavily glycosylated protein of around 80-90kDa.

Immunofluorescence Fixation with 3% paraformaldehyde or methanol is recommended and incubation for 60 min at room temperature in blocking buffer (0.1% gelatin in TBS/triton) Western blotting in 5% milk/TBS (+ 0.1% Tween-20) and incubation for 60 min at room temperature Immunohistology fixation with methanol or methanol/acetone recommended Where this antibody has not been tested for use in a particular technique this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. Suggested working dilutions are given as a guide only. It is recommended that the user titrates the antibody for use in their own system using appropriate negative/positive controls.
