NPY5R is a receptor for neuropeptide Y and peptide YY. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins that inhibit adenylate cyclase activity. Seems to be associated with food intake. Could be involved in feeding disorders.

Uses:	This antibody is useful for Peptide ELISA and Western Blot. Approx 50kDa band observed in Human Brain, Breast and Duodenum lysates (calculated MW of 50.7kDa according to NP_006165.1).
