![Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin: Angiopoietin 2 Antibody [18860002] - Normal tissues showed cytoplasmic staining of variable intensity, accompanied with nuclear or membranous positivity. Strong cytoplasmic staining was noted mainly in neuronal cells of the cerebral cortex and in trophoblasts of placenta. Lymphoid tissues were in general negative. Endothelial cells and erythrocytes were distinctly positive. Among the cancer tissues, few showed weak to moderate cytoplasmic immunoreactivity, sometimes accompanied with weak nuclear and membranous positivity. Hepatocellular carcinomas were distinctly stained with granular appearance in the cytoplasm. One single case of malignant glioma exhibited strong cytoplasmic staining. The remaining malignancies were unstained. Image courtesy of the (HPA).](http://images.novusbio.com/images/Angiopoietin-2-Antibody-Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin-18860002-img0001.jpg)
