Multiple receptor subtypes of serotonin neurotransmitters with multiple physiologic functions have been recognized. The 5-HT-2 receptors mediate many of the central and peripheral physiologic functions of serotonin. Cardiovascular effects include contraction of blood vessels and shape changes in platelets; central nervous system effects include neuronal sensitization to tactile stimuli and mediation of hallucinogenic effects of phenylisopropylamine hallucinogens.[supplied by OMIM]

Uses:

The concentration for this product is lot dependent. Check product vial for current lot concentration. Typically concentration ranges from 0.5 to 1.5 mg/ml. This antibody is useful for Western Blot. This product has been QC tested by ELISA using a recombinant protein. Why use an untested antibody? SDIX’s GAT technology means these antibodies were produced through in vivo expression of the antigen, meaning the antibodies are highly specific to the expressed protein. Applications such as IHC and WB are more likely to be successful with GAT antibodies, than with any other production process.
